What will we do in camp?
The camp consists of a variety of exercises, activities, and drills specialized for the entire female body. Plyometrics, running, lightweight training, lower body toning, kickboxing, stretching, athletic drills, agility drills, core training, etc.
Does a nutrition plan come with camp registration?
Yes. I can’t overstate the importance of a healthy and nutritious diet. Not only for physical benefits, but more importantly for health reasons, eating “right” is extremely important. In fact, whether you are under the personal training plan or registered with bootcamp you will receive a Get Fit Corona Diet Guide.
How long is each camp session?
Each camp session is an hour long. Camp will start with a brief warm-up and conclude with a cool down and stretching.
When does the next camp start?
Check the calendar section to see the start date of the next camp.
How big is each bootcamp class?
Class size ranges from 8-25 clients per class.
* It is important for me to maintain a manageable class size so that all campers get proper guidance and attention.
How many days a week is camp?
Camp is generally 5 days a week (Monday through Friday) for 4 weeks.
What are the other campers like?
Some may be quite fit and others may have not worked out in decades. Campers come in all shapes and sizes with different goals. Some come to just lose weight while others come to develop a long-term exercise regimen to become and stay healthy.
If I sign up for one class time can I attend a later/earlier session on a particular day?
Yes! The bootcamp was built to make working out as easy and flexible as possible for women. As a mother, I know things can unexpectedly come up in life. Therefore, classes are interchangeable. For example, If you are signed to the 5:15 am class but your alarm failed to wake you up (wink, wink) you can come to a later session.
Will any sessions ever be cancelled?
Camp will only be cancelled if there is heavy rain. On rainy days, campers can call my voicemail where a message will inform campers if camp has been cancelled or check the calendar on the website. Any cancelled sessions will be made up either on the coming Saturday or on a later date in the month.
Where is the camp?
Camp is located in South Corona.
What do I need for camp?
Campers will need two sets of dumbbells and a mat. Generally, a 5 pound set, an 8 pound set and a mat. Campers are always advised to bring water and towels daily.
* I recommend waiting for the evaluation before purchasing any equipment to make sure you buy the right weights for “your” body.
What is the process to sign up?
Prior to the first day of camp we will set up an evaluation where measurements, body fat analysis, and body weight is taken. In addition, we will discuss your individual health and fitness goals and answer any additional questions you may have.
I am “out of shape” so really, what kind of results can I truly expect?
This is perhaps the most popular question but yet the hardest to answer. The reason is because it is up to you!!! If you are serious about getting fit and not only attend all camp sessions but also eat a healthy diet, you could lose between 9 to 12 pounds, 4-6% body fat, and 2-4 inches (in your mid section alone) in 4 weeks! I will motivate, push you and provide you with the workout your body needs but it is up to YOU to come everyday and eat healthy when I am not around.
